Eva likes it very much, she has fun, she would run to the lesson, sometimes I forget about the lesson, she reminds me - 'Mum, lesson'. She has learnt "Shchedryk", she sings, she has learnt the national anthem and every time she watches TV she sings along with the TV.
It is very important for me that she knows where I come from, where her grandmother is from, where her grandfather is from. It is important for me to instil my culture in her, even though I am still learning everything myself. She is Japanese with Ukrainian roots, I can't give her Japanese (her environment gives her that), but I have to give her Ukrainian so that she can understand me and not shy away from me, as other adult children often do. I want her to find that balance between the two cultures and be able to combine them in herself and be proud of her two countries.

My son can't sit still for even one minute, so Zoom lessons seemed impossible. But Ukrainian language lessons online are very important to us, as other opportunities for communication are limited now. We have tried several other teaching methods for young children, but we liked the "Tsvit" school the best.
